THE WING PROOF EYELINER

The feline flick is notorious for being the hardest thing to get right. It's fiddly, messy and requires the mental endurance of a surgeon. We're no experts, but since making one recent discovery, we haven't had a winged liner mishap.

The big selling point for 1000 Hour Lash-Gro Eyeliner is of course, their claims of fuller, thicker lashes. However, we haven't been using the product consistently for the specified 60 days, so we can't really comment on whether this works. If you are looking for something to lengthen your lashes though, we've used Revlon's Grow Luscious in the past when we had a little accident with our eyelash curler, and it surprisingly did help to grow our lashes!
With that aside, we have been reaching for this liquid eyeliner whenever we want to wing it out. On most occasions when we're feeling a little catty, we tend to aim for something subtle, although we all know that rarely works out. The incredibly fine brush on this liner allows for precision and control, so it's easy to get close to the lashes and create a more natural flick. The trick to the perfect feline flick is gradually thickening the line as you move towards the outer corner. This always gets tricky, but we found that the fine nib and flexible brush makes it so much easier to glide the product along and slowly build up thickness.

The product is also extremely pigmented, so we don't find ourselves needing to go over our lines too much. A downside of this is because the liquid eyeliner is so black, you need to either line your tightline or smudge a kohl pencil into your top lashes otherwise any gaps between your lashes really stand out.

If your'e just starting out with makeup or maybe you're a little hopeless at getting your wings symmetrical, we definitely recommend giving this eyeliner a go.

What's your go-to product for creating the perfect wing?
