Summer always rekindles our love for lipglosses, and lately, pinks have been our thang. With more pink lip glosses than we care to admit, we thought it was time we rounded up our favourites! The best bit? most of our picks are drugstore!
Revlon Colorstay in Sunset Peach
For four well over four years, the Revlon Colorburst lipglosses have been one our most reached for lippies. If you're looking for the perfect gloss to complement your summer tan, than Sunset Peach is the one. Oh- and don't be put off by the flecks of glitter running through it, you won't even notice once it's slicked on.
Maybelline Colour Elixir in Petal Plush
Yay for non-sticky lip-glosses!! Cream lipglosses have always been our formula of choice, and the Maybelline Colour Elixirs do not disappoint. As you can probably tell, we tend to go for lighter and sheerer formulas when it comes to pink lipglosses, but the Colour Elixir in Petal Plush is probably the most pigmented and lipsticky of the bunch.
Covergirl Colorlicious Lip Give Me Guava
Continuing our compulsion for creamy lipglosses, the Covergirl Colorlicious are never too far from our reach. (Phew- How was THAT for alliteration?!). It's one of those "you don't have to think about it" lip glosses we slap on when heading for the door, but also one that looks lush with a smoky-eye.
Eles LipToxyl Sheer in Precious*
The LipToxyl Sheer in Precious is one we reached for when we're opting for a more natural look. The subtle, sheer finish is perfect for a no-makeup-makeup look, and adds a nice sheen worn over other lip products. This does have in-built plumping technology, but if you read our full review, you'll see that although we felt that infamous tingling, we didn't get the plumped pout we were expecting. As much as we are smitten with the shade, we're not sure we would be able to justify picking up another one of these any time soon. $67.52 is a little hefty for a plumping lip gloss that doesn't plump!
