OUR TOP 3 PALETTE PICKS FOR MAKEUP JUNKIES ON A BUDGET

Today, we want to bring your attention to some of our favourite affordable palettes that sadly do not get enough air time! We spend a good portion of our day ooing and ahhing over the latest drops from high-end cult brands, but as students, we appreciate the struggle of being a makeup junkie on a budget.

When we started planning this post, we knew from the start that we had to include this palette. As you can see from the abundance of pan, our Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow in Coffee Bean is well loved. We use this palette on a regular basis, but our favourite shade has to be the chestnut one which we like to blend into our crease.

Next up is Maybelline's Eye Studio Quad in Copper Chic. If you've got magpie tendencies and love glitter with a capital G, then this quad is for you. Each shadow is ridiculously pigmented which can be hard to find with glitter. We own 2 palettes from the range and definitely had to call on our will power to resist the temptation to pick up some more. They're velvety, making these the perfect no-fuss shadows for a brush free application.
Rounding off the trio is another one from Revlon's ColorStay 16 Hour Eye shadow, this time in Addictive. This one is as pigmented as the other 2 palettes, but we still rate it! This is such a wearable quad, perfect for travelling. The ivory shadow is a good base colour and great if you like to highlight your brow bone with a matte shade. We also love the terracotta one swept all over our lids or in the crease for a warm pop.

What are your favourite budget products? Would you like to see more posts like this?
