Spring Affair I Florals + Denim

If we could only wear 2 things for the rest of our lives, it would have to be hands down florals and denim! They are the 2 timeless trends that have captured the fashion world's heart over the years, and occupy a hefty chunk of our closet. So we thought we'd pay homage to our beloved florals and denim by sharing with you 2 recent additions to our ever growing collection from Choies.

I  THE FLORALS  I

Now, this isn't your ordinary, run of the mill floral top. The oriental flowers definitely are refreshingly more mature than your typical girl next door, sweet floral designs. The one thing we weren't sure about when picking out this top was the peplum detailing on either side of the waist. We never jumped on the peplum bandwagon, but the ruffles on this top are a lot more subtle and less structured which is what turned us off the peplum when it first came onto fashion the scene.

I  THE DENIM  I

Move over LBD and hello LDD (Little Denim Dress)!! A denim dress should be a staple in everyone's wardrobe and something we could argue is more versatile than the good ol' LBD. Light wash denim is relatively neutral, so it's styling potential is endless. We decided to stick to nude and gold accessories for a chic and clean look.

The one thing we have to say about this dress is that ironing this thing takes quite some time. So it's definitely not the type of dress you'll be wearing when you're in a rush to dash out the door. Aside from that, we think we'll be fighting all season long over this dress!
