No colour screams "SUMMER!" louder than coral. Spot us out and about during the warmer months, and chances are we will be sporting the colour, either with our threads, on our cheeks, nails, or what we've been loving most recently on our lips! But just because Summer is behind us, there is no reason you can't carry some of the Summer trends into the cooler months. This Maybelline Colorsensational lipstick in "Coral Pop" definitely lives up to it's name. It's pigmentation is nothing short of sensational. Our lips have been in desperate need of some serious TLC, so bragworthy colour aside, Maybelline also gets a big pat on the back for the moisturising formulation.
One thing we're going to have to complain about is the packaging. We've always preferred clean, simple packaging like this, and that is why we're so frustrated by the sticky residue left after we removed the barcode. We bought ours from Chemist Warehouse, and have actually had this happen to a few of our other products we've bought from there. We know that we'll be reaching for this lipstick ALOT this Summer, so let us know if you have a solution to this annoying problem.
What colour has got you spellbound recently?

Try one of the following to get the stickies off!
ReplyDeleteNail Polish Remover
Petroleum Jelly
Baby Oil (mineral oil)
Vinegar (soak cloth, apply then leave for awhile–even overnight)
Rubbing Alcohol
Windex
Olive Oil
Goo Gone
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
Thanks for the suggestions. we'll have to try some of these out and let you know how we go. We're guessing you have experience with the annoying stickies?! Way to ruin cute packaging huh?!

Use nail polish remover for the residue, but be careful that you don't damage the plastic!
ReplyDeleteThe color is very pretty :)

I love this range of Maybelline. I often reach for the Peachy Scene one which is a pink coral shade. Love your nail polish btw!
