COLORLICIOUS LIP GLOSSES: TRUE-TO-TUBE?

We always get excited when we spot new releases in the makeup aisles, and the Covergirl Colorlicious Lip Glosses were no exception.
Lip glosses aren't every one's cup of tea, but in recent times we've really been enjoying them. They're the perfect no fuss product. The problem with glosses is their pigmentation or should we say lack of pigmentation. For the most part they're ideal when you want something light and sheer, but finding a gloss that packs a strong colour punch is a challenge in itself. That's where the Colorlicious Lip Glosses come in. The products promise true-to-tube colour. We were skeptical at first, but once we plucked the glosses out of our shopping bags and brushed on a few coats, we were very impressed.

We picked up the shades Berrylicious and Give Me Guava. The colour payoff of both are pretty good and as promised, true-to-tube. Berrylicious is a gorgeous coral pink, something we are always drawn to in the lip department. The second shade, Give Me Guava is more of a nude gloss which we have been opting for a lot more recently. We now have our eyes on Sweet Strawberry which as the name suggests is a rich red shade.

The formula of these is also quite nice. They're light and not to sticky which is where most people are usually turned off by lip glosses.

Give Me Guava

Have you tried any of the Colourlicious Lip Glosses?

  1. Those colors are lovely. That's actually one of the reasons why I stopped using lipgloss...because most of them are super sheer and aren't true-to-tube colors.

  7. Give Me Guava is such a pretty color on you! I'd love to pick some up if they carried balm stains - I don't like the slippery feeling of gloss. Also, I really like how you took the photos with rose petals!

  8. That's true that the main problem with lip glosses is the pigmentation. I must say I was a bit skeptical at the beginning of the post but now I want to try them! xx

  19. I like the sound of them being not too sticky! I used to love sticky glosses when I was younger but not anymore. The Berrylicious looks like a shade right up my street :) x
