BRONZED AMBITION I OUR TOP 4 BUDGET BRONZERS

Finding a good bronzer isn't child's play. It requires dedication and involves a lot of disappoint! Call us melodramatic, but it definitely took some hunting before we found a few solid favourites. Today we share with you our affordable bronzer picks.

We reach for the Rimmel Match Perfection Bronzer regularly. Although not fans of the flimsy packaging, it's what's inside that counts. It is buildable without caking, so you can take it from day time glow to a more dramatic date night look without any fuss.

Revlon's Photoready Sculpting Blush Palette is the perfect 'I woke up like this' option. There's a highlighting shade, a blush and a subtle bronze that can be used as either a contour or bronzer. Bronzing with cream products is the go to in warmer months for a natural glowy complexion.

The next one is technically not a bronzer. As you can gather from the name, Revlon's Age Defying with DNA Advantage Powder is a pressed powder, but for us the shade... is our ideal bronzing shade. It's only a few shades darker than our skin which makes it great for a natural sunkissed tan that seamlessly blends into the skin. The formulation of this powder is one of the best we've tried so far. It applys evenly and flawlessly.

When we first pick this one up, Chi Chi was still an underrated brand, but since the , it has rightfully gained a big following among beauty enthusiasts. This Chi Chi Bronzer is on the redder. It is definitely the most dramatic or obvious on the skin of the 4. We have to say, we prefer pressed to loose powders, but the terracotta shade is perfect for the cooler months both to warm up your complexion and blend through the crease.

What's your go to bronzer?

  1. Yes I love the Rimmel bronzers and powders but the packaging really is flimsy! Not a fan when it smashes xx

  2. I've heard a lot of good things about Rimmel's powder products, but I hadn't thought to try out their bronzer before. My current favourite go to bronzer is Nars Laguna, it's not really budget friendly but it does the job really well :)

    1. You need to give some of their powders a go! We love the Stay Matte powder. You've probably heard plenty of people go on abot it, but it really is amazing, especially for the price.

    1. We aren't heavy handed with our bronzers. We like a more natural glow which is why we love these bronzers. They are all really buildable, so you can either create a subtle everyday look, or build up for a more dramatic contour

  4. I really like the Rimmel powder version of this, so I can imagine the bronzer is good. I tend to just use the contour part of my Sleek contour kit and I find that's a really good budget option :)

    1. It is! You should pick one up. The sleek contour palettes are a cult favourite, but we don't own one...yet! There are so many incredible products in the drugstore.
