FACE LOVES

It is rare for us to have a stable shower skincare regime. We have the most difficult time finding products that work well with our dry and sensitive skin, and an even harder time finding products that work well together. However, in the last 3 months, we've finally settled into something that somewhat resembles a skincare routine.
The Maybelline Eye and Lip Makeup Remover is a star at removing longwear and waterproof make-up without leaving any greasy residue. The bi phase makeup remover has a layer of blue oil, and a transparent liquid base. Make sure to shake the bottle  to combine the two layers  before you use it.

Be warned that the Lush Let The Good Times Roll Cleanser will have you craving caramel popcorn for days. Made with cinnamon powder, popcorn and Gardenia extract, this cleanser is gentle enough for your face, but we also love using it to polish and buff our skin all over.
A decent daily face cleanser is the product we've struggled the most to find. That is probbaly why the Clearasil Rapid Action Gel wash is the most enduring of the products in this post. We have found that switching between cleansers tends to break us out, particularly around our temples. However, once we started using the Rapid Action gel wash, our skin cleared up. Unless we make a miraculous discovery, we can't see this dropping of our repurchase list anytime soon.
Well before the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water started making ripples in the beauty world, had already demolished a bottled and repurchased another.  Touted by many as a dupe for cult favourite Bioderma Crealine H20, we've been using the gentle, fragrance-free formula as a post-shower cleanser an toner.
What is your staple skincare product?

  1. I'm looking for a staple... but over the past few months, it's been Olay Cold Creme. Oldie, but a goodie!

  2. I have tried the Garnier Cleansing Water too but I also quite the one by Bioderma. They are quite identical I'd say.
